So I dont need anything right now

It was a busy but good day, Halloween, "Trunk or Treat" went well I decided on an Army theme (a big stretch for us I know) we had enough stuff for it laying around the house it was the easiest to do, all I had to buy was candy (5 bags to be exact but I have plenty left over YUMM!) The girl in the picture above is one of our teens at church with glowing teeth Tod was telling her there was something wrong with her teeth lol.

I think the kids had fun, I had a Pirate, a Princess, and Elmo. Elmo caught on to the whole thing pretty quickly! She went quickly to every car and waited for them to give her candy then she went on to the next one. She even went back to some a second time and because she was so cute she just kept getting more!

OK so tomorrow is Halloween and it is something I struggle with every year. I was raised in a strict christian home and was never allowed to do ANYTHING for Halloween not even the church related alternatives. So now as a parent I know and understand why not to celebrate Halloween now but I remember how it felt as a kid always being excluded from all the fun. So I always try to make sure my kids have SOMETHING to do so that they don't feel completely left out.
So this year my church is doing a Trunk Or Treat. Basically we park our cars in the church parking lot and decorate the trunk and hand out candy from there, the kids are allowed to dress up which is half the fun of Halloween! But now I have to figure out HOW to decorate my trunk! I have been looking online but I haven't got many ideas I didn't find many pictures just people basically saying how to have one, but not many ideas on decorating tips.
Mine will probably end up being the lamest one there. Wish me luck!

A Scrap Buddy

I need someone to scrap with so that I can actually get some of my work done! I have so much to do, I make small scrapbooks for grandparents every year as Christmas gifts (BTW I have 5 to make!) And there just isn't enough time in the day to do it all! Of course it doesn't help that I keep taking more pictures!
I took my baby outside today to play in the leaves since our yard is full of them! And boy did she have fun, she found a few sticks of course and had more fun swinging it around that playing in the leaves but I did get one good picture of her laying in them of course I had to practically hold her down to do it (have I mentioned how busy she is? she never stops going!)

some energy

I have been so lazy today here it is after 1:00 and I am just now getting on the computer! OKOK mostly it is because it is sat and hubby is home so he has been on it all morning then my son got a turn, I had to come grab it while everyone else was eating lunch lol.
I have basically done nothing all morning but talk on the phone and wait till the babys naptime!
But I have to find the energy to go make some brownies for the Fall Festival at church tonight so I should probally get of the computer now.

A Maid

I HATE HOUSEWORK!!!!
I love being a mom and being home with my kids but I hate some of the stuff that goes along with it.
My 4 letter words are:
cook
wash
dust
iron
dirt

I hate those words!

But at 4:00 yesterday afternoon I get a phone call from my land lord telling me that he is sending a realator over today because they are putting the house on the market after we move out. So what do you think that means to me? That is right a 4 letter word-Clean! So why am I sitting her blogging when I have a 4 bedroom house to clean you ask?
Well I dont wanna!
Actually I have put my big kids to work today making them help and we have gotten a lot accomplished so far so I am just taking a break to blog for the day.
**sigh**
I guess I better get back to work, but maybe I will play for 5 more minutes LOL

The baby to take a nap!

Why is it that no matter how tired a baby is there are days when they just refuse to take a nap? She has had a cold for a week now and if she isnt better by tomorrow I am going to take her to the doc. But until then Why wont she just take a nap??!! I have gone into her room twice now and told her night night she flops back down into her bed and cries for about 10 minutes off and on then just starts playing again.
And While I am asking questions.....
Why do people when they know they are sick go ahead with a big birthday party for their kid causing everyone else that goes to the party to catch whatever it was she had? We went to a birthday party for one of my husbands coworkers kids she was sick, and the kids were just getting over it. Now my almost 20 month old and my husband is sick. Now the baby I can take to the doctor and let her get lots of rest but my husband has too much going on and cant just not go to work. He is in the army, he cant just call in sick, he had a 12 mile ruck march on monday in 20 degree weather with a chest cold! GRRRRRRR! People are so inconsiderate!
ok off to go tell the baby night night again, hopefully she will go to sleep this time, right now she is asking for Ernie lol one of her favorite sesame street characters.

A title

Unoriginal Mom blog post 1
I am so unoriginal I cant even come up with a good title for my blog, I had to get my friend to help. So today on my first day of blogging I need a title for my blog!
Looking through the blogs titles I found so many that were great
Mom needs Coffee
Mom on a wire
Mom to the screaming masses
Those all fit me but somehow I cant come up with something cute and original like that, why? Why, Why, Why?!
Ok I am acting like a brat now. I am acting like a spoiled kids asking for something he cant have "Why cant I have that big TV for my room mom?" "But I REALLY NEED it mom!"

Ok so much for that I guess I will tell you a little about myself, I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids a 11 year old boy, a 10 year old girl, and a 20 month old girl. Right now I am attempting to home school my oldest 2 kids and let me tell you it is no walk in the park! I guess it would not be a problem for some one who is organized but organized I am not. Trying to keep a active 20 month old occupied so that my kids can concentrate on school, making sure all or ouur critters are well taken care of (a dog, a hamster, 2 birds and 2 hermit crabs) on top of all that being a supportive Army Wife which in itself can be a big job. Espically during a year long deployment! But that story is for another day.
I guess today I just wanted to get something started. So there it is my first BLOG on here.
There, done, finished, now what were the kids trying to tell me while I was writing this?
